Session One

One of the aspects of my own spiritual path that I’ve always found most interesting is how many teachings and ideas seemed completely unrelated at first brush but ended up being deeply connected. And related to that, the fact that I could read the same text over and over and over again — days, weeks, months, or years apart — and repeatedly come to new understandings through the same words. In fact, if I had to guess, I’d say for every 1000 words of new content I take in relating to anything spiritual, I probably re-read at least 10,000 words of content I’m already familiar with.

So, with this in mind, I thought it might be a helpful exercise to share with you all some texts/audio/video every week that have been very helpful to my own understanding, and then we can have a more open-form discussion in the comments.
