What is right and what is wrong? How should the world be? What do I owe others, and what is owed to me?
The narratives we spin about the world and our place in it are bound to make us suffer. Even worse, if you’re anything like the average person, the narrative by which you’re bound isn’t even your narrative — it’s one that was spun by someone else (probably by a group of people who’ve been dead for decades or even centuries) then forced onto you early in life, before you were even equipped to decide if it was appropriate or not.
Systems of control are all around us. And while it’s impossible to avoid interacting with systems of control entirely, if you know enough, you can avoid being absorbed by the system — being forced to accept the worldview it tries to impose on you, only to be chewed up and spit out by it when you’re no longer useful to it.
You can escape the Matrix. And today, we’re going to find out how.
